The German Linux expert, Klaus Knopper, will launch the new version 6.3 of his PC operating system Knoppix, at the start of the CeBIT this year.
Knopper will present his feature packed software bundle daily on the Open Source Forum, Hall 2, booth F38.
Compared with its forerunner, Knoppix 6.3 has been completely re-worked and come with added applications like Google Chrome.
The live distro Knoppix offers users the choice of three Linux desktops. Knopper has also included extra drivers, e.g., for Nvidia graphic cards. Klaus Knopper will present daily lectures on the more important changes to his Linux distribution on the Open Source Forum, at the Cebit in Hanover, in Hall 2. The talks will be also streamed live on the internet, later available in the Linux Pro Magazine archive.
