Wikis are catching on. Perhaps this is the year of the wiki, as last year was the year of the Blog. wikis are very useful for collaboratively collecting and organizing information. The best known wiki is Wikipedia [1], the online encyclopedia, but many thriving public Wiki sites inhabit the Internet, such as the original WikiWikiWeb [2] by Ward Cunningham. Can a Wiki be used in the Enterprise? At first, it may seem like a Wiki is too unstructured and too chaotic for a corporate enterprise environment.
