Nmap is rolling out a new scripting engine to automatically investigate vulnerabilities that turn up in a security scan. We’ll show you how to protect your network with Nmap and NSE.

Nmap is the tool of choice for penetration testing. Experts use Nmap to search out security holes and scan for open network services. But what happens when you find a problem? Many administrators prefer to follow up the discovery with additional tests. For instance, if Nmap finds an http service, why not query to determine the web server version?
