openSUSE 11.0

The November issue of Linux Pro Magazine/Linux Magazine includes openSUSE 11.0. OpenSUSE is the community arm of the venerable SUSE Linux – one of the oldest and most popular Linux distributions in the world. Inside openSUSE 11.0, you’ll find KDE 4.0, Gnome 2.22, and Linux kernel 2.6.25. The latest openSUSE also comes with a new installer, a major upgrade to the software management system, and what Novell calls a “plethora of improvements.”
