SLED 11

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) is Novell's top-end desktop Linux for corporate environments. Inside you'll find a steady and stable system designed for interoperability and business-like efficiency. This month's DVD comes with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of SLED 11. SLED offers a practical set of the best desktop productivity tools. Version 11 also comes with new power management features, including display dimming, CPU throttling, and hard drive shutdown. According to Novell, the new Nomad remote desktop suite provides "near-native" graphics for remote desktop access sessions, which makes SLED an ideal candidate for remote virtual desktops. This DVD provides 60 days of free maintenance, which entitles you to any patches and updates. See the box titled "60 Days of Free Maintenance" for details.

A quick look on the internet will show you the extent of this bootable DVD problem. They ask for a fix within the Novell forums and have been ignored.

...and they think people will migrate from Redhat or Windows for this crap!? Can't even make a bootable dvd for god's sake.

Thank You for Novell SuSE Enterprise 11.
This is the first distro I have got from you which does not boot.
I ordered a new one - does not boot.
On the DVD I can not find any autorun file, do I need one?

To check my hardware I installed Mandriva 2009 - success.

    Where do I go wrong?
