Conclusions

Google Translate CLI was created in February 2013 by a Chinese programmer living in Sweden for the purpose of translating simple short texts without having to switch to the browser. The tool achieves this goal with ease. Its capabilities in terms of translating longer or more complex texts are fairly limited.
