Apache Libcloud Graduates
Apache announces that Libcloud is now a Top-Level Project (TLP).
Apache's Libcloud project, which was accepted to the Apache Incubator in 2009, is an open source Python library that provides an interface to more than 20 cloud provider APIs, including Amazon EC2, Rackspace Cloud, GoGrid, and Linode. In the announcement, Apache Software Foundation VP (and Libcloud Incubation mentor) Anthony Elder says, "Graduation is a terrific milestone for Libcloud and will help make it a top choice for anyone looking at cloud management solutions."
