KDE SC 4.4.2 Removes Bugs, Adds Language Support

Apr 02, 2010

The KDE Project has released version 4.4.2 of its software compilation which devotes itself to fixing bugs.

The translators have been busy, increasing localization support for more than 50 languages, but the main reason to jump on this update is for the bug fixes it addresses in the latest branch of Linux desktops. 4.4.2 should make crashes in Plasma, Dolphin and Okular a thing of the past. The Microblog applet now shows the correct time and the audio player KRunner will no longer freeze the user interface.
