Maemo Makes Rare Appearance
ZTE debuts the V7 MID at Shanghai's World Expo
Maemo, the open source mobile OS based on Debian, made a rare appearance at Shanghai's World Expo, where it powered the V7 MID tablet.
The device sports 4.1 inch display, 3.2 megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard. The V7 MID comes equipped with GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a micro SD card slot and micro USB. It's also compatible with 3G CDMA1X, HSDPA and EV-DO.
No word on the device's price or availability. We'll update when we know more.
