MeeGo Conference Slated for November

Jun 24, 2010

We hear Dublin's nice that time of year.

MeeGo, the open source venture between Nokia and Intel, announced its inaugural conference, scheduled for November 15-17 at Dublin's Aviva Stadium. Developers, project contributors, OEMs and OSVs will all be on-hand for the two days of scheduled sessions, with a third day for ad hoc sessions that didn't fit into the first two.

Also planned are weekend activities in Dublin, a reception on the first night of the conference and a possible trip to the Guinness Storehouse on Tuesday.

Currently, the event is still very much in its infancy. MeeGo is looking for sponsors and registration and the call for papers has not been opened yet. MeeGo does offer a conference progress wiki and promises registration and submission announcements soon. For additional sponsorship information, check out the original blog post.
