Simple Groupware 0.409 Integrates Wiki
The Simple Groupware project has just released version 0.409 of its Web-based groupware product. The changes include an integrated wiki.
The developers have integrated Pmwiki, a wiki written in PHP with their software while at the same time creating a new package that supports version 6.5.14 of the Funambol SyncML server, which is used to exchange data with mobile devices.
On top of this, the programmers have revamped the HTML file preview and added debugging parameters to the cron jobs. The latest version of the software will run with PHP "register_globals" set to "on", although the developers advise against this for security reasons.
Simple Groupware, which is licensed under the GPLv2, combines mail, calendaring, task management and document management in a single Web application. It supports numerous standards and processs like Icalendar, Vcard, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, CIFS, WebDAV, LDAP and SyncML. The programmers have also developed a language called Simple Groupware Solutions Markup Language (SgsML) that gives users the ability to modify the software to suit their own requirements.
Simple Groupware 0.409 is available as a tarball here.
