Resetter

Conclusions

Resetter has the potential to save users of Debian, Ubuntu, and their derivatives the trouble of reinstalling. 2.1.0 version is still a bit unstable: Of a total of seven runs with three distributions, one failed. After our testing was finished, version 2.2.0 of Resetter was released. The new version is said to have addressed some of the bugs we encountered.

It would be great for the developers to work on further stabilizing the software as well as improving error handling. It took quite a while to connect the manifest and user list error messages (documented nowhere) with the menu items and to get started on what was ultimately quite a simple solution.
