24-Hour Marathon - Mozilla Researches Trends

A 24-hour marathon will be taking place September 14 through 16 under the label of Mozilla 24 to give the Mozilla community the chance to talk to Web experts and university staff.

The discussion topics at the marathon will be the "Future of the Web", trends and new technologies, which explains why Vint Cerf and Lawrence Lessig will be holding talks.

The event comprises lectures, panel discussions, and presentations on the Web which will be streamed by the Japanes WIDE video network. There will also be a music event – the lineup is available here. The target group according to the project is "individuals who are interested in shaping the future of the Web socially, technically and culturally including Web developers, researchers, engineers, and end users from around the world."
