File Recovery

Summary

Foremost is a simple yet effective forensic file recovery tool. It has a limited number of file types that it can recover, but the ones that are covered are the ones most commonly encountered and associated with forensic recovery. Foremost is available for most distributions in package format, but you can download the source directly from the Foremost SourceForge page and compile it for your specific distribution.
