March 24th is Ada Lovelace Day, and you can participate by blogging about women in technology:

Ada Lovelace Day is an international day of blogging to draw attention to women excelling in technology. Women's contributions often go unacknowledged, their innovations seldom mentioned, their faces rarely recognised. We want you to tell the world about these unsung heroines. Whatever she does, whether she is a sysadmin or a tech entrepreneur, a programmer or a designer, developing software or hardware, a tech journalist or a tech consultant, we want to celebrate her achievements.

In honor of Ada Lovelace, one of the first women programmers, you can sign up online and pledge to blog about a woman in technology at: http://www.pledgebank.com/AdaLovelaceDay

Check out the site for a list of other participants and follow Ada Lovelace Day tweets at: http://twitter.com/FindingAda
