InfoStrada's Linux Magazine
A warm welcome to readers of the US-based Linux Magazine.
InfoStrada's Linux Magazine ceased publication with the June issue. All subscribers will receive Linux Pro Magazine as a replacement. Due to the timing of this arrangement, the first Linux Pro issue you will receive is the August issue, which mails early July.
| Linux Magazine June 2008 issue |
Linux Pro August 2008 issue |
However, the number of issues left on your subscription will be carried over. If, for example, you had 7 issues to go on Linux Magazine, you will receive the next 7 issues of Linux Pro.
Please note that we offer two types of Linux Pro subscriptions: with and without a DVD. Linux Magazine subscribers will receive the no-DVD option, an $85 value, but will have the option to upgrade to a DVD subscription. We will, however, not be able to offer the DVD upgrade until we have completed the conversion process of importing the Linux Magazine subscriber database. We will inform you of the details as soon as that upgrade is possible.
| UPDATE:
The Linux Magazine subscriber database has now been imported, we can now upgrade subscriptions to include the DVD. The DVD subscription is $99.95 per year. If you would like to upgrade, we will credit the balance of your remaining subscription towards the new DVD subscription. |
If you have any questions regarding your subscription and this transition, please don't hesitate to contact us at cs@linuxpromagazine.com.
Due to the short-term nature of this transaction, the transfer of the subscriber database will still take a few weeks, so we ask for your patience if we aren't able to answer all your questions immediately. Linux Pro is a very customer-service oriented business, and we will do our best to have everything up and running as fast as possible.
Welcome Aboard and Best Regards,
The Linux Pro Magazine Team
| Note to subscribers outside North America: You will receive Linux Pro's European sister edition, Linux Magazine, the content of which is identical to Linux Pro's. If you have any questions regarding your subscription and this transition, please don't hesitate to contact us at subs@linux-magazine.com. |
