About Sk*rt
It really is a vast virtual world out there, and every day I find something new that makes me wonder "Why didn't I know about this??" For example, today I ran across a post on the ReadWriteWeb.com site about the Sk*rt site changing its name. I hadn't heard of the Sk*rt site, a Digg-like site for women, but apparently visitors get to vote on the new name.
So, I poked around the site and saw the Internet & Technology page, which means I found even more things I didn't know existed. For example, Christina Laun wrote about 50 Awesome Resource for Open Source Writers, including yWriter for writing novels. I'm not ready to write my novel, yet, but it's good to know what's available just in case.
