Mozilla and the Open Web

Mozilla Labs has announced a new workgroup dedicated to the open Web. Ajax experts Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith, cofounders of Ajaxian, are the driving forces.

Mozilla offered both developers a full-time job, according to their blog. The group's goal is to bring innovation to web development, beginning with R&D into tools leading to a more simplified development process and eventually to community integration. The project is still in its planning phases and asks to stay tuned for more concrete updates.
