Raspberry Pi
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. The product website calls it “a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games.” It also plays high-definition video. Model A (US$ 25) has been redesigned to have 256MB RAM, one USB port and no Ethernet. Model B (US$ 35) has 256MB RAM, two USB ports and an Ethernet port.
Our offers about "Raspberry Pi"
Learning Experience
You don't need a powerful computer system to use AI. We show what it takes to benefit from AI on the Raspberry Pi and what tasks the small computer can handle.
Power Point
Command-line tools and Node-RED on a Raspberry Pi let you control projects that use the USB ports.
Home Automaton
Z-Wave components, a RaZberry module, and the free Home Assistant software make the Raspberry Pi a powerful smart home control center.
Push of a Button
A video telephony system with huge user benefits does not have to be complex. This project starts a phone call with just a single button press and switches channels automatically on a TV.
If you are interested in Raspberry Pi:
Visual Cues
Professional and casual Python developers save time and keystrokes in a Visual Studio Code development environment for remote coding of a Raspberry Pi.
Useful Companion
Turn a Raspberry Pi into a useful personal micro server for streaming Internet radio, reading RSS feeds, jotting down notes, sharing files, and more.
Display Deluxe
Unlike other displays for the Raspberry Pi, Adafruit's PyPortal touchscreen provides an autonomous environment, including a microprocessor, sound output, and a WiFi connection.
Kitchen Helper
A simple kitchen helper with two timers assists budding chefs in coping with dishes that are unlikely to be ready at the same time.
Cyber Gardener
An automated watering system comprising a Raspberry Pi Zero W, an analog-to-digital converter, and an inexpensive irrigation kit can help keep your potted plants from dying of thirst.
Reuse and Recycle
A digital picture frame displays photographs and a current weather forecast with just a few hundred lines of Bash and a Raspberry Pi.
Eye in the Pi
Set up a professional video surveillance system armed with motionEyeOS and a Raspberry Pi.
Long Range
WiFi is convenient for devices that are in the same house. If you want to extend the distance, give LoRa a call.
Pass the Hat
A touch display, a case, and a custom add-on board transform the humble Rasp Pi into a high-performance function generator that rivals expensive commercial offerings.
Out of This World
Some of your favorite programs might not run on Raspberry Pi because no version is available for the ARM architecture. ExaGear Desktop changes that by acting as a translator between the ARM and x86 worlds.
