Android 2.2 Coming to myTouch 3G series

Genius Button, Exchange support also confirmed.

With all of this talk about iPhone 4, the EVO 4G and the Droid Incredible, other smartphone owners are feeling left out or overlooked. Owners of one of T Mobile's myTouch series phones will get a treat in the form of Android 2.2 later this year.

In addition to the onboard features such as Flash support, cloud synching, tethering and the ability to stream your home music library, myTouch users will also get the Genius Button functionality and full Microsoft Exchange support.

It will be interesting to see how Flash works on the older myTouch models, as reports have been popping up online that it kills performance on the Nexus One. We'll update the story when we get a confirmed release date.
