Development Kit for Collax Platform

Following announcements at Cebit, Collax has now completed work on a Software Development Kit (SDK) for its Collax Solution Platform.

The kit will help software manufacturers to develop solutions based on Collax Software for small to medium-sized businesses, and release their solutions via the distributor's online repositories.

Collax has put together an SDK comprising standard compilers, libraries and tools from the world of Linux. Debian's DPKG format will be used for packages. The vendor has added a few of its own tools to the kit to facilitate the integration of third party applications with the GUI-based Collax administrative front-end.

The Collax Solution Platform includes both the SDK and a server back-end. The Software Development Kit is available to developers as a free download after registration.
