Dr. Kristof Kloeckner to Deliver Partner Keynote at 2010 Red Hat Summit

CTO of Cloud Computing to Discuss Strategy During Address

Dr. Kloeckner will discuss current cloud computing initiatives and what lies on the horizon for the still-advancing technology during his Partner Keynote at Red Hat Summit . The keynote will take place on Thursday, June 24 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. The summit begins on June 22 and concludes on the 25.

As CTO of Enterprise Iniitiatives and Vice President of Cloud Computing Platforms, Kloeckner oversees all of IBM's cloud computing initiatives. Previously, he was a CTO and VP of Strategy and Technology for IBM. He joined the company in 1984 as a development engineer, working as a member of the Boebligen Development Laboratory.

IBM has the largest network of cloud computing labs in the world and with the recent acquisition of Cast Iron Systems, a private company that specializes in cloud integration software, their initiatives continue to take shape.

The Red Hat Summit will offer labs, demonstrations and hands-on sessions for creating public and private clouds using Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Registration is still open. For full rates, click here.
