Fedora 16 Release Named

In a Fedora community vote, Fedora 16 release has been named Verne.

In an email to the Fedora announce mailing list, Jared K.Smith, the Fedora Project Leader at Red Hat, announced the results of the vote for naming the future Fedora release. Smith also thanked those who submitted suggestions and voted.

Verne won out over other suggestions such as, Beefy Miracle, Omoto, Nepia, Bonnet, Barona, Llullaillaco, Legation and Mt. Orne.
