Linux Mint Debian Edition Now Available

Dec 27, 2010

The Debian based Linux Mint Edition (LMDE) is now available for download.

In addition to all Linux Mint 10 features, LMDE (201012) now includes 64-bit support and because LMDE uses cgroup developers also note that users should experience improved performance. Also included in this release is better language and fonts support as LMDE uses Ubuntu's libcairo, fontconfig, and Ubuntu Font Family. Developers have also addressed conflicts between Pulse Audio and Flash and more.

More information about this release can be found in the Changelog and on the Debian Linux Mint Website.
