Nasdaq Delists SCO

SCO, notorious for its litigation concerning Unix rights has been delisted by the US stock exchange Nasdaq.

In a press announcement SCO revealed that a final delisting notice had been served to it by Nasdaq. The delisting is due to SCO applying for protection under Chapter 11 of the US bankruptcy code in September. Shortly before this, SCO had suffered a decisive defeat against Novell when a court ruled that Novell owned the rights to Unix.

As the press announcement reveals, the delisting notice was served to SCO December 21. Although SCO appealed the decision, SCO's shares are now no longer traded on Nasdaq.
