OpenOffice Renaissance Provides Usage Click Charts for Impress

The Renaissance UI improvement project for OpenOffice has rendered a click chart in Impress based on usage feedback data.

The usage feedback data for Impress and Draw collected in early October is available for download on the OOo project page. Further updates will follow.

Renaissance click chart

A click chart shows how often users click an Impress function. Data was collected by the user feedback program.

The Renaissance project also recently added an FAQ page, including videos in which Linux Magazine Online blogger Florian Effenberger interviews project member Andreas Bartel.

The user feedback program began with OpenOffice 3.1. The Renaissance project as a whole is working on a new user interface design, initially for OpenOffice Impress.
