Piviti Seeks Funding

Donors will get to vote on new features for the free video editor.

The Pitivi open source video editor project is currently collecting donations to accelerate Pitivi development.
The first objective of the fundraising effort is to prepare for a stable, error-free, and well-documented version 1.0 release. The developers also want to use the money to add additional features features. Sponsors of the fund-raising campaign are allowed to vote on which new features to develop. Candidates for additional development time include: a plug-in API, better surfaces for effects, and a storyboard mode. The medium-term goal is to make Piviti target licensed under software should be suitable for professional use.
