RHEL 6.1 Rolls Out

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 boasts enhancements, patches, and security updates.

Red Hat announced the general availability of RHEL 6.1, the first new release since November 2010. According to the announcement, technology updates include enhancements in virtualization, file systems, scheduler, resource management, and high availability; integrated developer tools that provide ability to write, debug, profile and deploy applications without leaving the graphical environment; and support for automatic failover for virtual machines and applications using the Red Hat High Availability Add-On.
