Shuttleworth Calls for Screenshots From the Community

Mark Shuttleworth is appealing to community members to send him screenshots of their standard 1024x768 desktops. His aim is to collect ideas that will improve the desktop experience.

In his mail on the Ubuntu developer mailling list , Mark says he is looking for all kinds of screenshots, with browser open or closed, wallpapers, email clients, panel configurations, icons and layouts in general use.

Because the screenshots may be used in collages or otherwise displayed, Mark asks that no sensitive information be included, and he says, he'd prefer shots with 1024x768 pixels as it seems to be the format most widely used and will make it easier for him to compare the differnet desktops.
