Sixth Debian Update Improves Etch Security

The Debian Project has released a sixth update for the current stable version of Gnu/Linux 4.0, codenamed Etch.

The release is aimed mainly at improving security faults and fixing some serious bugs. As always, those who have kept their Debian patches up to date will need very little data to install the new version. Alternatively, CD and DVD versions can be topped up via apt/aptitude from a Debian server.

Nevertheless, the Project intends to make images of the updated package available for download shortly. A full list of changes and fixed bugs can be found here.
