Ubuntu App Developer Week: April 11-15

New and experienced developers are invited to participate in Ubuntu App Developer Week, April 11-15, at #ubuntu-classroom on IRC.

"Our goal is to give all attendees a taste of the wide variety of tools on the Ubuntu platform that can be used to create awesome applications, and to showcase some applications that have been created and explain how they were put together," David Planella says in his announcement on the ubuntu-news.org site.

Highlights of the developer week include enabling touch support in applications, rapid application development with Qt Quick and QML, and using Bazaar revision control to track source code history. See the complete schedule in the Ubuntu wiki.
