Wireshark 1.6 Released

The Wireshark free network sniffer rolls out 1.6 release with advanced features.

The latest Wireshark release boasts many improvements, including large file (>2GB) support; ability to import text dumps (similar to text2pcap) and export SMB objects; and

Wireshark is licensed under GPLv2. The source code and binary packages for Windows and Mac OS X are available on the download page.
