Migrating?

Question:

I currently know little to nothing about Linux, other than what I have read. I am interested in installing Ubuntu Linux as my operating system.

I have many systems (laptops, desktops), all of which run XP in different variations (e.g., 32- and 64-bit; standard hard-drive installation and some in RAID configurations).
