Firefox 4 Beta Loves HTML5
The beta release of Mozilla's new browser adds more HTML5 features including support for WebM.
Mozilla released the Firefox 4 beta earlier this week and with it comes added support for HTML5. Optional elements from version 3.6 such as HTML5 Parser, Inline SVG, and Inline MathML are now baked into Firefox 4.
Additionally, Firefox 4 becomes the first Mozilla browser to support the open source WebM video format and depth based header styles.
HTML5 features yet to be implemented in Firefox 4 include HTML5 forms, a full screen video API, and a Video Buffer API. Firefox 4 can also support WebGL for 3D graphics, though support is optional.
