FotoInsight Designer 4.5

The newly released version 4.5 of the digital photo service is compatible with Linux and Mac operating systems and comes with geotagging and other new features.

Using cliparts, texts, frames and other effects FotoInsight allows, for example, the creation of travel guides which can be uploaded to
websites as digital photo albums.

The newly launched software enables users to integrate photos, texts and maps from file-sharing sources such as Flickr or Wikipedia and
accompany their photos with geotagging and travel routes from sites like locr. Other new features include photo layering and blend-in masks that can be used as picture frames. The new printing format includes a panorama view (28 x 21cm) with a 360 dpi resolution.

Currently only available in Europe, the software can be freely downloaded from the UK FotoInsight website. System requirements for the Linux version are a 2.6 kernel and glibc 2.6. The price for a basic printed travel photo album with 26 pages is 10 British pounds.
