IndiMail, an email solution made of open source components, now includes greylisting spam filtering in version 1.6.
The IndiMail application unites among things the QMail SMTP server, Courier IMAP/POP3 server, Bogofilter Bayesian spam filter, Clam antivirus and Fetchmail. Version 1.6 includes Greydaemon, a greylisting package that reduces spam in the SMTP session (see a whitepaper on greylisting).
IndiMail supports Bounce Address Tag Validation (BATV), a mechanism for detecting invalid bounce addresses. IndiMail developers also fixed a vulnerability in Fetchmail (CVE-2009-2666).
IndiMail 1.6 is available as Debian and RPM packages and a source code tarball for download at SourceForge. The components are under free licensing such as GPL.
