Monitorix 1.5.0 Introduces MTA Statistics

Apr 07, 2010

The Monitorix monitoring software is available in version 1.5.0 and now shows info about the mail server.

The view on the mail transfer agent (MTA) statistics uses data from sendmail, mailscanner and milter-greylist, such as refused connections to the SMTP port, filtered spams and the number of delivered messages.

The new MTA view in Monitorix shows mail connections, queues and greylist statistics.

Developers also fixed a few bugs. Monitorix now allows SENSORS_LIST specification of sensors in an associative array. All in all, configuration options were extended by quite a bit in the configuration file.

Version 1.5.0 is under GPLv2 and available for download from the Monitorix homepage as source code and packages for a few Linux distros.
