Kdenlive 0.8 Now Available

Jean-Baptiste Mardelle of the Kdenlive team, announces the release and availability of Kdenlive 0.8, a free and open source video editor for Linux.

New features in the Kdenlive 0.8 release include an improved UI, proxy clips, audio monitoring, HDMI output as well as new effects.

According to Mardelle, Kdenlive benefits from the recent improvements in the MLT framework and Frei0r effects projects. A full list of changes can be found on the Kdenlive 0.8 information page. Kdenlive 0.8 is now available for download and users needing support are encourage to use the forums.
