Linus Torvalds has announced RC1 for Linux Kernel 2.6.32.
In his announcement, Torvalds estimated the changes to the new kernel as being 67% drivers (mostly from the staging tree), 10% firmware and 10% architectural updates. The ARM platform constituted the lion's share of the latter. Another 5% consisted of documentation changes and the remainder was "a random smattering of other things," among them updates for filesystems and networking. The RC1 downloads are on Kernel.org.
