Mandriva Opens Club to Public

French distributor Mandriva Linux has now opened a club website formerly restricted to all Mandriva users to the general public.

The online club gives users access to various offerings for the Linux distribution including a knowledge base, a RPM package source, repositories with documentation and access to the "Expert Support Platform".

The club is Wiki-based. Despite shifting to free access, Mandriva requires users to register to open an account. Mandriva has also moved commercial distribution downloads to the new Powerpack Download Subscription.
