Parted Magic 5.8, a live light-weight Linux distribution developed for partitioning hard drives, can now be fully loaded into RAM and booted.

Parted Magic 5.8 uses the 2.6.36 Linux Kernel and the most current version of the Gnome Partition Editor (GParted). In addition to the many bugs fixes and core program updates, version 5.8 also includes the SciTE text editor.
