(Yet Another) Drupal 7.0 Alpha Released

Sep 16, 2010

Drupal announces what they hope to be the final alpha build of version 7.x.

It's been a couple of months since the last Drupal 7 alpha and now the project is announcing what they're hoping will be the last Drupal 7 alpha before the project moves forward. In addition to the features the previous alpha contained, the most recent Drupal alpha contains upgrade path fixes, usability improvements, UI improvements, accessibility fixes, and PostgreSQL and SQLite fixes as well as some jQuery improvements, and general security fixes.

The team has identified several obstacles in getting the alpha to beta. These roadblocks can be found at drupal.org. Durpal is positive that it can reach beta within the next month if these issues are resolved.
