Opera Mini 5 Beta now available for Android

Mar 11, 2010

The Norwegian company has released the slimline browser Opera version Mini 5 for Android systems.

Android users can now enjoy the popular speed-dial feature which saves the most-visited sites on one tab. Also, thanks to the high compression of page content (according to the manufacturers up to 90%), Opera promises the Mini 5 to be much faster than other browsers. Tabbed browsing is another feature of Opera on Android.

The new version is still in beta. The fitting version for your Android mobile can be found at m.opera.com/next. Details to the features of Opera Mini 5 can be found here.
