Cherokee 0.99: Video Streaming and Client Authentication

Project Cherokee has released version 0.99 of its free webserver.

New in the release is a Traffic Shaper and Video Streaming, enabling the server to stream FLV while limiting the transfer rate. With its support of TLS/SSL encryption, the webserver can now also handle client authentication.

The new Cherokee 0.99 can be downloaded as source-code tarball from the project homepage. The software is licensed under GPLv2.
