Debian Seeks New Project Leader

For the past four weeks, candidates have been applying for the position of Project Leader at Debian. Four candidates have made it to the last round.

Steve McIntyre, current Project Leader will not be available for the post. He wants to concentrate more on the development aspect at Debian. The new candidates have introduced themselves on the Debian developer mailing list. They are (in chronological order of applications):

Stefano Zacchiroli

Wouter Verhelst

Charles Plessy

Margarita Manterola

The coming three weeks will see the candidate debate on the debian-vote-mailinglist, with the election of the new Debian Project Leader for 2010 taking place between April 2 to 15.
