Gov 2.0 Innovators Pavilion to Feature 15 Next-Gen Companies

Pavilion to highlight transparency, outreach.

The Gov 2.0 Expo will feature an Innovations Pavilion centered around 15 companies working to emphasize the role of technology in government transparency. Among the companies included in the pavilion are:

  • IdeaScale, which allows customers (or in this case voters) to submit ideas or proposals to a community, which then vote for the best ideas, causing them to rise to the top.
  • CiviGaurd, a location-based technology that specializes in rapid-response and civilian crisis alerts via text messaging and mobile deployments.
  • DotGov, a mobile government accountability platform.
  • Igloo Software, a social software company specializing in constituent engagement

The complete list of exhibitors can be found here. The Gov 2.0 Expo takes place May 25-27 in Washington D.C. Registration is open until May 24. Prices range from Free to $695, depending on package.
