Server Statistics and Alerts with Beszel

If you're managing more than just a few servers, a monitoring system keeps you informed of any issues requiring your attention. Beszel provides a comprehensive solution that's easy to set up, yet incredibly powerful and flexible.
Whether you're running multiple home servers (including Raspberry Pis or a NAS) or even a virtual private server (VPS) on the Internet, it's important to ensure these systems are functioning correctly. You may face issues like nearly full storage or RAM or unexpected spikes in CPU load. To keep tabs on all these systems, a monitoring system is indispensable.
One such solution is Beszel [1], an MIT-licensed project compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, FreeBSD, and other operating systems. You can easily install the central component (called Beszel Hub) with its web interface on your own server (e.g., in a Docker container) and then deploy an agent on each system you'd like to monitor. These agents continuously send data back to the hub. Beszel's web interface gives you an instant overview of memory usage, storage, network consumption, CPU load, process count, CPU temperature, and more for all your systems. Beszel can even send you alerts when certain thresholds are exceeded.
Setting Up Beszel Hub
Install Beszel Hub on a central Linux server, for instance, using Docker Compose. First, create a directory on your server to store Beszel's data:
