Fedora 11 Seeks Testers on Way to Beta
As planned, on March 10 the Fedora project hit a feature freeze for version 11. There are still a few test days left before the first beta appears next week.
The development cycle for Fedora 11 ("Rawhide") froze during the last week. The period between introducing no new features and the first beta (planned for March 24) is one in which developers might address key components over specific test days.
The test day on March 3 already concentrated on the Intel graphics card driver, March 17 proves to be a day to test the DeviceKit power, and March 19 is reserved for Xfce 4.6 in Rawhide. The test days have the ultimate goal of fully testing all the new Fedora 11 features.
