Personalities of PyCon Interview Series
Meet the personalities behind PyCon, the community run conference that brings together users and developers of the Python programming language.
PyCon is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 through Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
This event is broken down into to 3 parts: tutorial days on March 9-10, main conference days on March 11-13, development sprints on March 14-17.
In preparation for this event we have highlighted several of the community planners behind this event: Steve Holden, Catherine Devlin, Vern Ceder, Wesley Chun, and Jesse Noller in the PyCon Personality interview series. Want to know more about the history of this event, how these planners found their way to Python and FOSS, as well as how you can get involved? Find out how in these interviews.
PyCon is utilizing several social media tools to keep the community informed and up to date this week. Those tools include as it unfolds this week can follow: Convore: Twitter (Follow @pycon and use the #pycon or #pycon2011 hashtags) Facebook, IRC (server: irc.freenode.net, channel: #pycon), and Lanyrd.
