Access and manage files and documents on your file server or a remote server from the comfort of your browser or Android device.

File servers are commonplace now, and for a good reason: The ability to access important files and documents from anywhere or share them with other users has become a necessity for most of us.
A Linux-based file server lets you access files and documents through a wide variety of protocols, including FTP, Samba, and SSH. However, to make it even easier to manage files on your server, consider deploying the AjaXplorer [1] web-based file manager. This tool allows you to work with files from any web browser and includes a handful of genuinely useful features. AjaXplorer can be installed on any machine running the Apache web server and PHP 5.1, and the entire installation procedure consists of a few relatively simple steps.
